CIPATE 2009: THE GREAT OPPORTUNITY IN CRISIS
The third edition of CIPATE took place from 19th – 21st May 2009 in the Beijing Exhibition Center. Under the situation of economic crisis started in the United States in 2008, which soon growing into a global crisis that threatens every corner of the world. Many developed country has to face economic decline, thus, many foreign exhibitors had to decrease their booth space or quit the exhibition. However, China-as the biggest growing market, and CIPATE, as the best platform for related companies to explore this market, still attracted 195 exhibitors from USA, Italy, Israel, Finland, Korea, Holland, Germany, Swiss land, Hongkong, etc totally 15 countries & areas took part with exhibiting area of 21,000sqm. Including 20000sqm indoor space and 1000sqm outdoor space area, which possess 30 indoor booth for abroad exhibitors, 45 indoor special decoration booth, 89 indoor standard booth, 9 outdoor exhibitors in special vehicle field exhibited during this great show.

Among the abroad exhibitors, MOTOROLA, 3M, AGUST WESTLAND, etc, represented the highest technology and fame in their field all treat this fair as the opportunity to build their brand. At the same time, four biggest state-owned group in this field, including China South Industries Group Corporation, China North Industries Group Corporation, China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, also see this exhibition as the best opportunity to strengthen the leadership in the market. On the other hand, the exhibition pay back them rich return.

Though it was just in economic crisis, the three days fair still attracted 15000 visitors, among them 11955-79.7% (raised 2.9% than last edition) are from relative companies at home and abroad, Public security organs, Armed police force, Law Enforcement Agencies, State Security Departments, Army, Embassies, Police office of Hong Kong and Macau

The 51 media has registered at CIPATE 2009 to release news about the fair. The media include 10 from overseas countries, 6 from China Taiwan, Hongkong, Macao, 20 of centra media, 15 of Beijing media and 18 from other provinces of China.
Besides, an active advertising campaign in Internet, direct e-mail and distribution of more than 90 000 invitations to the central government and regional governmental bodies, more than 10 000 invitations have been distributed to the participants of the exhibition among their business partners.

Next edition, The 4th China (Beijing) International Exhibition and Symposium on Police Equipment and Anti Terrorism Technology and Equipment will be held on 19th -21st May, 2011 at Beijing Exhibition Center.
